HUNT THE WUMPUS

Adaptación a PC de la aventura de texto primigenia hecha en BASIC por Gregory Yob en 1.973. Es un homenaje cariñoso y lleno de asombro al juego original y a su creador, e intenta conservar al máximo su esencia.

Serás capaz de sobrevivir moviéndote a ciegas por un caverna y matar al WUMPUS antes de que él te mate a ti????

El juego está creado para consola de texto, íntegramente en C++. Es un ejercicio pre-plantilla para afianzar los conocimientos del lenguaje. Sólo se usan tipos básicos. Todos los contenedores de datos utilizados son custom y desarrollados desde cero.

La versión Windows incluye todo lo necesario para ejecutarse sin necesidad de instalar nada más.

En Linux hay dos versiones: Wumpus_full, que incluye todas las dependencias en el propio ejecutable; y Wumpus, que no incluye las dependencias de las librerías estandar de C++ (recomendado para usuarios de Linux que cacharrean con el C++)

Will you be able to survive moving blindly through a cavern and kill the WUMPUS before it kills you????

The game is created for a text console, entirely in C++. It is a pre-template exercise to strengthen language knowledge. Only basic types are used. All data containers used are custom and developed from scratch.

The Windows version includes everything necessary to run without having to install anything else.

In Linux there are two versions: Wumpus_full, which includes all dependencies in the executable itself; and Wumpus, which does not include dependencies on standard C++ libraries (recommended for Linux users who tinker with C++)
